Ingredients
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 400g lean beef mince
- 250g tomato paste – no added salt
- 400g can diced tomatoes – no added salt
- 1 cup reduced salt beef stock
- ½ teaspoon mixed herbs
- 400g can Edgell Red Kidney Beans – No Added Salt, drained and rinsed
Method
STEP 1In a non-stick pan, cook onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes, add beef mince and continue cooking for 3-4 minutes or until browned.
STEP 2
Add tomato paste – no added salt, diced tomatoes – no added salt, beef stock, drained and rinsed Edgell Red Kidney Beans – No Added Salt and ½ teaspoon mixed herbs. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Tips
If you like it spicy, try adding a pinch of chilli powder or chilli flakes in step 2.
