Macaroni Cheese With Peas & Carrots


A heart-warming family favourite that is always a winner with the kids

Serves: 4


  • 1½ cups dry macaroni
  • 420g can Edgell Peas & Carrots, drained
  • 2 tablespoons plain flour
  • 1½ cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 cup grated tasty cheese


Step 1

Cook macaroni following packet directions. Drain and place into a baking dish with Edgell Peas & Carrots.

Step 2

Meanwhile, combine flour, milk, mustard and ½ cup cheese in a saucepan and heat, stirring continuously until thickened.

Step 3

Pour cheese sauce over macaroni and stir through. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 15 minutes.

Tasty Tip!

For a sharper cheese flavour, try using a mix of tasty cheese and parmesan cheese.
