Lamb And Beetroot Burgers


The whole family will love these delicious lamb and beetroot burgers

Makes: 6


  • 500g lamb mince
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¼ cup finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh mint
  • ½ cup Greek style natural yoghurt
  • Finely grated zest of ½ lemon
  • 6 burger buns
  • Lettuce, for serving
  • 425g can Edgell Sweet Sliced Beetroot, drained


Step 1

Combine mince, onion, garlic, cumin and fresh herbs in a bowl. Season to taste and shape into 6 burgers.

Step 2

Cook burgers for 6-7 minutes on each side or until browned and cooked through. Meanwhile, combine yoghurt and zest in a small bowl.

Step 3

Serve lamb burgers in burger buns with lettuce, Edgell Sweet Sliced Beetroot and yoghurt sauce.

Tasty Tip!

Alternatively, use beef mince instead of the lamb mince
