- 125g can Edgell Chick Peas, drained
- 1 tablespoon tahini, (optional)
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 2 -3 tablespoons low fat yoghurt
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Place all ingredients into a food processor and blend until the mixture is smooth; scraping down the sides halfway through processing.
Spoon hummus into a serving dish and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Thread cherry tomatoes, chopped cucumber or baby bocconcini cheese onto bamboo party forks and serve as “dippers” with the hummus.
Tahini is made from sesame seeds and has a yummy nutty flavour. One tablespoon of sesame seeds can be substituted for the tahini.
