- 250g tub light cream cheese
- 1 clove garlic crushed
- 400g can Edgell Chick Peas, well drained
- 425g can Edgell Sliced Beetroot, well drained
- ½ cup fresh mint leaves
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Pita bread for serving
Place all ingredients except pita bread into a food processor. Blend until smooth.
Spoon into a serving dish and serve with warm pita bread.
This hummus can also be used as a spread on burgers or souvlaki wraps.
