Steak With Mushroom And Onion Sauce

A quick and easy mushroom sauce served with tender steak and steamed vegetables

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 4 porterhouse or scotch fillet steaks
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 410g can Edgell Mushrooms in Butter Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • mashed potato and steamed vegetables, for serving

Instructions

Step 1

Pan-fry steaks until desired doneness. Remove from pan and allow to rest.

Step 2

Add onion to the pan and cook until softened. Add Edgell Mushrooms in Butter Sauce and sour cream. Heat through and season to taste.

Step 3

Serve steak with mushroom sauce and a side of mashed potato and steamed vegetables.

Tasty Tip!

This sauce also tastes great with chicken.
